The Homebuyers Club

Cookies and similar technologies

Last updated 25 September 2026 · Plain-English wording written by the Club; solicitor review planned

1. What we use

"[OPERATING COMPANY NAME]" uses a small number of cookies and browser storage items. There is no advertising and no tracking across other websites.

2. Strictly necessary

Sign-in cookies from Supabase keep you signed in. A short-lived cookie records that you have been seen today so we can count active members without logging every page. These are needed for the service and cannot be switched off.

3. Preferences kept on your device

Ticks on checklists, dismissed hints and similar conveniences are stored in your browser only. They never reach our servers and are not cookies in the tracking sense.

4. Analytics, only with your consent

If you switch on “Help improve the app”, we use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to see which screens and features are used. It records named events (for example “score saved”), never money figures or contact details, and no session recordings. Switch it off in Settings and it stops immediately.

5. Error monitoring

We use Sentry to learn when something breaks. Reports have names, emails, postcodes and amounts removed before they leave the app.

6. Changing your mind

Settings lets you switch analytics off at any time. Deleting your account removes everything.
