The Homebuyers Club

Terms of use

Last updated 25 September 2026 · Draft wording, to be confirmed by our lawyer before launch

1. Who we are

The Homebuyers Club: First Home Planner (“the app”) is operated by "[OPERATING COMPANY NAME]" (“we”, “us”). The app is free for members. We earn referral fees from regulated partners when you choose to be connected to them and we tell you before every referral.

2. What the app does and doesn't do

The app helps you plan for buying your first home: a Ready Score, a deposit tracker, an affordability guide, a step-by-step journey and general homebuying information. It gives guidance to help you prepare. It does not give mortgage advice, financial advice or a lending decision. For personal advice, speak to a regulated mortgage broker.

3. Your account

You must be 18 or over and living in the UK. Keep your sign-in email secure; anyone with access to it can sign in as you. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

4. Your information

The information you enter is yours. You are responsible for its accuracy; scores and estimates are only as good as the numbers behind them. How we use your information is set out in our privacy notice.

5. Partners

Partners are regulated by the FCA, SRA, CLC or RICS as appropriate. We are not a party to any agreement between you and a partner and we are not responsible for their services.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app, attempt to access other members' data, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Liability

We provide the app with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for decisions you make based on guidance in the app, or for losses that are not a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; we will tell you about significant changes in the app. Questions: hello@thehomebuyersclub.co.uk. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
